All over...phew

"How is it?" is the most common question asked of me recently. ('It' meaning the wedding)

All I can say is... it was great. Tiring but had loads and loads of fun, but I'm still glad it's over. =)

so close yet so far

Before long, I think all these will be over and my blog will stop.

But before that happens, I'm thinking of all the things that I have to do. Doesn't really help that I have to go Thailand for a week. Usually that should be a good thing but not when we haven't sent out invites and we'll be back only on 11th... AND the RSVP date we printed were 12th. Hmmm.

Am thinking of outsourcing to friends to make phonecalls for addresses and RSVP (at the same time) for this one week. Any takers? =p

missing makeup artist

Ok, it's not as bad as it sounds. Just that I had to reformat my phone 2 days ago (sigh, that's another story) and lost all my contacts. And I didn't save her number into my handheld (which by the way, is currently being repaired. What is with me and gadgets?!) so now I can only hope and pray that she doesn't lost HER contacts.

new job

Yesterday I added another skill into my resume. I think I will be good at some production line, having had experience yesterday folding and inserting the invites. I am so glad that we decide to go for a simple card for the second night because we will be so tired if we had to do this for ALL the cards.

Thank God for making parents, brothers and sister-in-laws.

Too many things to do -- balancing between work, attending 4 weddings (in a span of 2 months), exercising, and of course the wedding preps.

Realised that it's no longer a joke. I have officially less than 2 months to THE day. Saw my brother recently and he said, "You don't look any different leh."

Not good.

Anyway, as the day draws nearer, am too lazy to scout around for different vendors for the same thing so am just sticking to the first person that I visit. Have confirmed the printers for the invites and the florist. Next up, caterer.

I'm happy to announce *drumrolls please*... that... we've gotten the church venue!

Yippee. So that's one thing off our minds. Except now we've got to think of who will be our officiating pastor. And the music...

Oh, and we chose our wedding invites over the weekend too.
